Consumer arbitration in Catalonia is fast, free and binding for businesses that adhere; for EU cross-border purchases there is a European online dispute platform. Many claims die successfully at this stage.
When a lawyer pays
Amounts large enough to justify fees, companies that stonewall formal claims and damages beyond the standard refund: there a lawyer files the ordinary court claim — often with fee-shifting available in consumer cases.
